12月16日，国家管网发布消息，西气东输四线天然气管道工程，吐鲁番至中卫段全线主体线路焊接完工，为2024年底投产奠定了基础。

随着位于甘肃省玉门市清泉乡的最后一道焊口焊接完成，2022年9月开工的西气东输四线吐鲁番至中卫段，1745公里管道实现主体工程完工。吐鲁番到中卫段途经的“安西极旱荒漠国家级自然保护区”，是目前我国唯一以保护极旱荒漠生态系统及其生物多样性为主的多功能综合性自然保护区，保护区内生态环境脆弱，地形地貌复杂多变，施工条件差，工程难点多，施工组织及管理都面临极大挑战。国产PLC控制器

国家管网集团建设项目管理分公司甘宁工程项目部负责人任涛：根据保护区特点和实际情况，制定施工措施保护生态系统，全力克服恶劣气候条件，历时460天顺利实现主体线路焊接完工。

工程投产后，年设计输送天然气150亿立方米、增输改造后可达300亿立方米。
